CSIF Evolves into Multi-Donor Platform for Civil Society Support in Ethiopia

The Civil Society Innovation Fund (CSIF), supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), has officially transitioned into a multi-donor platform. The Embassy of Ireland in Ethiopia and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ethiopia have joined as additional partners, marking a significant milestone in the fund’s evolution.

This evolution reflects a shared commitment to strengthen Ethiopia’s civil society sector through coordinated resources, collective expertise, and harmonised support mechanisms.

Following this new support, CSIF will launch a new funding for eligible consortia of civil society organisations in December 2025. Further details will be shared soon on the website and through our social media channels. Stay tuned!
