Invitation to Bid: Provision of External Audit Services for CSIF Ethiopia

The Civil Society Innovation Fund (CSIF) Ethiopia is a multi-donor initiative established to strengthen the role, capacity, and influence of civil society organisations (CSOs) in Ethiopia. CSIF Ethiopia is managed by a fund manger, Mannion Daniels Limited in partnership with AGAR.

CSIF Ethiopia invites eligible Ethiopia-based audit firms to submit Technical and Financial Proposals for the provision of independent external audit services covering the preceding one-year project period and the subsequent two years and six months.

Eligible and competent audit firms are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals, together with the following mandatory documents:

1.    Valid Certificate of Registration and Business License demonstrating the firm's legal authorization to provide audit services in Ethiopia.

2.    Valid professional audit license/certificate issued by the Ethiopian Accounting & Auditing Board of Ethiopia.

3.    Renewed Tax Clearance Certificate and TIN Certificate.

4.    Company Profile, including the firm's organizational structure, qualifications, experience, and core areas of expertise.

5.    Relevant Experience particularly demonstrated experience in auditing donor-funded projects, development programs, NGOs/CSOs, and/or multi-donor projects of up to 10 years.

6.    Curricula Vitae (CVs) of the proposed audit team, clearly indicating their qualifications, professional certifications, relevant experience, and proposed roles.

7.    At least three relevant client references, preferably for comparable donor-funded or development projects.

8.    Technical Proposal describing the firm's understanding of the assignment, proposed audit methodology, scope of work, quality assurance arrangements, staffing, and work plan.

9.    Financial Proposal presented separately and clearly indicating the professional fees, applicable taxes, and any other anticipated costs.
